In this episode, I share my personal journey with ADHD medication and how it impacted my ability to connect with my Inner Authority in Human Design. For years, I thought my struggles were tied to the not-self, but it turned out my medication was off, which was affecting how I showed up in the world.

We’ll explore:

•The connection between ADHD medication and aligning with your Inner Authority in Human Design
•How proper medication can help you operate more effectively and in alignment with your design
•My experience resisting medication, developing coping strategies, and eventually realizing medication was the best decision for me

Please note: I’m not a doctor, and this episode is not medical advice.

Always consult your doctor regarding ADHD medication.

I’m not pro or against medication—this episode is simply my story and how medication helped me manage ADHD when my coping mechanisms were no longer enough.

There’s a lot of misinformation online suggesting that impulsivity is a superpower for ADHDers, especially for Generators and Manifesting Generators in Human Design. In this episode, I break down why this belief is not only incorrect but dangerous.

We’ll explore:

•The critical differences between impulsivity and a grounded sacral response
•Why impulsivity, especially for ADHDers, can lead to risky behaviors like debt and decision-making without proper thought
•How impulsivity is actually reactivity, which keeps Generators and Manifesting Generators out of alignment with their true design
•Practical ways to distinguish between an authentic sacral “yes” and impulsive reactivity driven by ADHD

If you’ve ever been told that impulsivity is a gift, this episode will help you gain clarity and offer actionable advice to support your decision-making as a Generator or Manifesting Generator living in alignment with your Human Design.

In this episode, we dive into the mental fears of the Ajna Center in Human Design and how they relate to anxiety and ADHD. Anxiety is often misunderstood, and here we explore whether it’s a byproduct of your design, your ADHD, or a mix of both. Spoiler alert, you may be SHOCKED that sometimes what you perceive to be your symptoms are actually "not self" patterns in your design.

We’ll cover:

•The healthy and unhealthy expressions of the Ajna Center
•How to differentiate between ADHD-related anxiety and design-based fears
•A deep dive into the individual gates of the Ajna and their influence on your mental state
•An exploration of fear as a normal part of life, looking at how each awareness center (Ajna, Spleen, Solar Plexus) holds fear

As someone with a background in psychology and years of experience working as a counsellor this topic hits close to home. I’ve also struggled with anxiety myself as an ADHDer, and I’m excited to share insights that will help you navigate these complexities and find clarity.

While this episode steps outside of our usual focus, I felt it was essential to address a topic close to many of our listeners—navigating ADHD with children. As ADHD women, many of us are raising children who also have ADHD, and understanding how to support them in leveraging their strengths can make all the difference.

In this episode, I combine my background in counseling and over a decade of experience working with children and youth in the mental health field to explore:

•How to identify and support your child’s strengths with Human Design
•Strategies for helping ADHD children thrive, not just cope
•Creating a home environment that sets them up for long-term success

This may not be our typical episode, but I believe it’s an important conversation for any ADHD woman looking to navigate her child’s unique needs while empowering them to leverage their natural strengths. Tune in to learn how to support both yourself and your children on this journey.

While this episode is ADHD specific, if you have a PDA child or teen I highly recommend Casey at At Peace Parents.  She is a wealth of information & a leading authority in the field.
